Burst of Energy!


I jumped into this week with a new found energy to hit goals and smash records! After a month of not watching what I eat and no exercise (I did however do dry July and was vegetarian for the month), it feels good to challenge my body and nourish it with healthy food.

My old friend MyFitness Pal has been whipped back out and so has that morning energy! Here’s a break down of what I’ve done the last few days

FOOD
BREAKFAST:
Oats
A2 Light Milk
2 teaspoons chia seeds

LUNCH
Tuna & Avocado Sushi - Tuesday
Chicken Stirfry - Wednesday
Salad wrap (avocado, tomato, cucumber, baby spinach and cheese) - Thursday

SNACKS
Mainland Cheese & Cracker snack pack
Medium sized pear
Lots of green tea
Lots of water

Supplements
Vitamin C
Drs. Best Acetyl L-Carnitine
Cellucor C4 Extreme Preworkout

WORKOUTS

30 minutes Stationary Bike

60minutes Treadmill

THURSDAY
Angled Leg Press

FRIDAY (today) - Rest - at home, with a glass of wine!

I’ll also add that this is the first time I’ve ever used the Cellucor pre workout and Oh My God. It works. The first few times I used it it gave me this tingly, itchy feeling all over, and I mean ALL OVER - face, arms, scalp, calves - everywhere! But once I started working out I felt like I had so much more energy. I don’t think I could have achieved 60minutes on the treadmill without it. I’m also trying out the Acetyl L-Carnitine for enhanced focus. I’m still unsure about whether I can feel its effects but I’ll keep using it and see how I feel.


Saturday will be my weigh in and measurement day and I’m exciting to see and share the results, although history has proven that I won’t see much of a change, at least not in the first couple of weeks. That being said, I’m determined to keep myself honest because I also know the only way to get the results I want is to work hard and not cheat myself out of the best me.
