Homemade Nutella

Nutella is probably something I don’t buy often at all, but with the chance to make a healthier version and therefore be able to enjoy it as a treat without the guilt, I figured, why not? Super easy and oh so delicious!


Ingredients
500gms roasted hazelnuts (skins off)
2 tablespoons raw cacao
Maple syrup to taste
Grapeseed oil

1) Grind the hazelnuts in a food processor until the churn into a butter. This can take up to15 minutes, and you will need to occasionally stop the processor to scrape down the sides. If the nuts are not forming into a butter, add a little bit of the grape seed oil (or any other oil of your choice that is does not have a strong taste). Process some more until it churns to a smooth butter

2) Once the hazelnuts have grinded into a smooth butter, add the raw cacao and maple syrup and process until combined. Done!
