I'm back and Paleo

So its been 2 months and I haven’t blogged once! I know, its not a good sign! I’ll not make excuses - I’ve just not been on the ball!

I guess I should start with where I am with my weight/diet/health in general.

For the whole time I’ve been away I haven’t been to the gym! Not once! And I’ve been eating quite average so there’s not much exciting there.

Two weeks ago though my bf suggested we do a diet cleanse, which pretty much consisted of 3 days of just veggies. No grains, no meat, no sugar - just veggies. And green veggies at that. The next 3 days are still a blur of green on green, but on the up side, I lost 1.6kgs and now weigh in at 81.6kgs. I was a bit skeptical at first, thinking it was just water weight, but its been nearly 2 weeks since and it’s still off. We’re now off the veggie cleanse and eating a paleo diet. I’ll say this now - i won’t rule out another veggie cleanse!

Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, Snap Peas, Avocado and Purple Cabbage.

I have to say I’m enjoying this change of diet a lot! I feel less sluggish and less bloated. Its also inspired me to start making a lot of things from scratch and I have to say I am REALLY enjoying the whole process.

At the moment, I’m living in a world of breakfast smoothies and home made almond butter - recipes to come!
